Vacation has returned, or rather, they’ve never gone away. Still reeling from last year’s release of Mouth Sounds #2699 (Let’s Pretend Records), the Cleveland, Ohio quartet hasn’t let up. Today the band premieres the video for “Deflector Head,” animated by Evan Wolf, and is one of the more direct and melodic numbers off the grimy, punk-enthused release that has kept us all on our toes since its release.

The album was engineered by John Curley of the Afghan Whigs and as we’ve noted previously, it’s filled with cranked guitars that allow the band to sound like it’s ready for a stadium tour. Life doesn’t stop here for the band though. Vacation is set to drop its new LP, Zen Quality Seed Crystal, with preorder available from Salinas Records. The band continues its never ending touring with dates listed below.
