Video Premiere: Jonny Couch, "Vertigo"

From Brooklyn, New York, Jonny Couch makes soulful, synthy anthems, inspired by power-pop and New Romantic greats, like The Cars, Cheap Trick, Nick Lowe, Bryan Ferry, Duran Duran, etc. The charming 80s aesthetic and catchy melodies are sure to tickle the pop sensibilities of any self respecting ’80s devotee.

His new album, Mystery Man, comes out August 2 and was produced by Peter Mavrogeorgis (Grinderman, Sharon Van Etten, The National).

Ghettoblaster has the pleasure of sharing his video for “Vertigo” today. The video was directed by Jordan Edwards. The artwork for the single (above) comes courtesy of Surfbort guitarist David R. Head Jr.
