Video Premiere: Jack Knight, “You, Me, And the Man in the $3,000 Suit”

Ghettoblaster is proud to premiere the video/single “You, Me, And the Man in the $3,000 Suit” by Seattle’s own Jack Knight.  The single can be found on Knight’s latest effort Some For Jack, Some For Jesus.
“You, Me, And the Man in the $3,000 Suit” is a scorching fuzz rock anthem with a healthy of blues and alt country. The witty lyrics call attention to the powers at be, assuming the point of view of some nondescript bureaucrat defending his right to thrive on the suffering of others. The music video was filmed in Chico, California and stars a 1967 Ford Mustang convertible.
Some For Jack, Some For Jesus was written, arranged, and produced by Jack Knight. Inspired by the music of his youth, Jack writes classic rock songs with a modern flair. The album undulates from shimmering acoustic guitars to dense fuzz walls finding balance and harmony between the two.
The song arrangements center around a tight rhythm section, Jordan Clarke (drums) and Liam Near (bass). Jack Knight uses a multitude of guitars, keys, and vocal layers to ornament each song in ways that reference his influences, but mark where his music is headed.
