Calling their music “witch-pop”, Columbus, Ohio based Damn the Witch Siren are a dynamic duo that’s hard to ignore.  Wrapped around the seductive sounds of 80s pop, themes of feminism and spirituality surround the songs.  Damn the Witch Siren have established their shows as can’t miss; hyper-energetic sets offer up wild light shows and choreographed dances moves.  Simply put their shows are can’t miss.  This past Saturday at the local venue Spacebar, the duo had to turn away people after selling out the room.  “It was 9 o’ clock when the venue doors opened and I guess there was a line down the street of people waiting to get in,” said singer Bobbi Kitten.  “I had about 100 people already hitting me up about tickets in the last 24 hours because they missed pre-sale tickets online so I told them to get there early if they wanted to get in. My friend messaged me and said she got in line before 9 pm to buy a ticket and the doors had sold out at 9:03 pm! It was insane. Overall, it was a beautiful night surrounded by incredible people and positive vibes and it felt like it wasn’t just a celebration of releasing this album but a celebration of love, light, and sexual freedom.”
Ghettoblaster is proud to premiere the video for Damn the Witch Siren’s video for “Sex U Up”, coming off the duo’s most recent release Red Magic.  “For me, this entire year has been an exploration of self-discovery, self-love, sexuality, and opening myself up to people more in my life and in my art.  This video is about as personal as you can get,” Bobbi Kitten says.
