What people may not realize is how far the tentacles of the band reached over the years, and now you can experience that in the new video for “Ovid”, which features a slew of never-before-seen vintage Super 8 and VHS footage with an all-star cast. For example, there’s glimpses of when Josh Tillman aka Father John Misty played drums for the post-rock outfit, as well as footage featuring Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes, Pedro the Lion, Danielson Famile, Manchester Orchestra, and Me Without You. 

Heavy Age, the Unwed Sailor’s first album since 2008’s Little Wars (Burnt Toast Vinyl), is set for release on May 3rd, 2019. An expanded list of April and June tour dates across North America, including stops in Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Cleveland, San Francisco, and more were recently announced.
