RZA's Protege Stone Mecca Shares Video For "Boogeyman"

Wu-Tang Clan’s own RZA is a mastermind on the mic and finding solid musicians to collaborate with, no doubt.  Case in point: Stone Mecca.  The guitarist/singer taught himself by diving deep into the archives of legends such as BB King, Parliament, Funkadelic, Al Green, Prince, Earth, Wind & Fire.  We must not forget the driving force of influences for many old and young Jimi Hendrix.

In Mecca’s latest video for the single “Boogeyman”, Mecca and his own band show off their expertise with a dark, yet cool lounge backdrop performance.  Going along with that is a story featuring a young girl being abducted by a stranger.  Mecca based the premise off a scenario he watched on the reality show What Would You Do?  The message is simple: despite the differences in the color of our skin, everyone still has a sense of compassion and righteousness.
