California band Night School have announced that they will be releasing their latest LP via Graveface Records Disappear Here in the spring.  The group have released the single in support of the news, “July”.

Written by guitarist/vocalist Alexandra Morte, “July” is rather important to her; the song centered on the message empowerment for her twelve year old daughter.

“I just wanted to write a song that encouraged her to speak her voice and express to her that she has a voice and that things she has to say really matter. It’s important for young women to hear that message, especially now. They need to speak out and be heard. So in a sense it’s not only for her; it’s for any young woman that feels like they don’t have the courage to speak out,” Morte said in a recent interview.
