The trio is releasing their new full-length, Lovesick,(Graveface Records) on September 6th, and today the band have shares a taste of the album with the new single, “Deserve.” Recorded by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Oathbreaker, Gouge Away), Lovesick perfectly captures the band’s essence with the full throttle of punk through a shoegaze kaleidoscope. That essence could be embodied within “Deserve,” where the band verifies its ability to interchange dynamics, add anthemic choruses, and wondrous melodies. The trio of Matty Taylor (guitar/vocals), Sam Glassberg (bass), and Garren Orr (drums) aren’t here to prove anything because it seems they’ve already done what many bands haven’t: created something original.
