Fucked Up is an anomaly. The band’s double-album Dose Your Dreams, is filled with politics and aesthetics of hardcore, combined with elements of doo-wop, krautrock, groove, digital hardcore, just to name a few. The album’s title track is the perfect example which exemplifies this combination, directed by the band’s Mike Haliechuk.

The music itself rides the lightning of silky smoothness with danceable rhythms, as Chris Colohan hoots and hollers midway through giving fans what they need in its Fucked Up appeal.

Fucked Up embark on a run of dates this spring, beginning with a show at Brooklyn’s before linking up with Black Lips and then forge onward to Primavera in Spain and Portugal. A full list of dates can be found below.
