Bogota, Colombia’s Bomba Estéreo share their new video for “Soy Yo” of the group’s Grammy-nominated album Amanecer. The “Soy Yo” video follows the song’s message of respecting people for who they are and being proud of what you makes you unique. It follows a young girl walking the streets of New York City. The clip was directed by Danish director Torben Kjelstrup after the band ran a contest for fans to submit music video concepts.

Amanecer is an expansion of the band’s musical spectrum while staying true to its trademark electro-tropical sound. Pairing with producer Ricky Reed of the Oakland hip-hop/pop collective Wallpaper, singer Liliana Saumet and multi-instrumentalist Simon Mejía delivered their most colorful album yet.
