Chicago has slowly reemerged as a hotbed of talent the world hasn’t seen in the past few years. Now creeping out of dark corners is Absolutely Not, a synth post-punk quartet, which now boasts Meat Wave guitarist Chris Sutter. The band shares the new single/video, “Bottom Of The Pit” off the forthcoming Problematic (No Trend Records), which is out March 1, 2019.

This isn’t your dad’s Rock ‘n Roll…and as a matter of fact, this is what you would imagine a smart post-punk act would sound like with synth leanings and stop-start timing that’s never out of sync.
