This is the world of The Poet’s TV.

The NYC-based classically trained artist and improviser Jennifer Pyron writes and records utilizing keyboards, synthesizers, and RC300 loop station. What’s created is a menagerie of atmospheric landscapes through Pyron’s collage of sound, also utilizing her voice in quite a unique way. For The Poet’s TV, Pyron takes listeners through her organic explorations through electronic means.

The Poet’s TV is a YouTube channel launched by No Surrender, an electronic and alt/rap group with roots in the early Afropunk scene. The channel explores the work of writers, spoken word, and sound artists showcasing the intersection of sound and literature, and (hopefully) pushing the boundaries of poetry as performance art.
