NoMBe is the musical project of LA-based Electric Soul Prodigy Noah McBeth. Noah has a wide range of influences and in his music he combines a variety of styles, self-produced and performed, to create a one of a kind sound. His debut album They Might’ve Even Loved Me is out today on Th3rd Brian, it honors all of the strong women who shaped him throughout his life, from past and current loves, to his mother and godmother Chaka Kahn. Noah tells us about his life growing up in Germany, his early days playing music, his mother’s wrongful imprisonment, his badass all-female band, and the process of making his debut album. He’s lived through a diverse array of experiences that made him into a unique individual and forward thinking artist. Now with an album and SXSW showcase under his belt, he is on the rise with his track “Can’t Catch Me” serving as the theme song for Pharrell’s HBO documentary series Outpost.
