White Hills will unleash their latest transmission, So You Are…So You’ll Be, upon the world on August 20 via Thrill Jockey. Earlier today, Stereogum premiered “In Your Room,” the album’s anthemic and uncompromising lead song. Featuring both Dave W. and Ego Sensation on vocals, “In Your Room” instantly transports us to White Hills’ universe, achieving transcendence through ricocheting guitars, rumbling bass, and pounding drums. White Hills were recently picked by The Cult to support their upcoming Electric ’13 tour, and the band was recruited by acclaimed filmmaker Jim Jarmusch to appear as themselves in his new film, Only Lovers Left Alive, which will see wide release later this year.
