Philadelphia electro-pop outfit W.C. Lindsay have announced their new single “Just Another,” premiering now via The Fader. “Just Another” is the third of three singles released following the 2014 release of Easy Victim, Charitable Deceptions and in anticipation of new music in 2016. The slowest and grooviest of the singles released to date, “Just Another” showcases another side of the high energy band known for starting parties in Philly basements. A statement from songwriter and frontman Will Lindsay can be found below.

“‘Just Another’ represents a new speed for us- It’s a departure from our normal nostalgia. I wanted to make the lyrics more conversational, and my best friend Lucy Stone laid down some beautiful vocal takes that really bring that element to life. I love getting a second voice on tracks, and we haven’t had the chance to do that since ‘Little Ghost.’ Our parts interact and create a vibe you couldn’t achieve with one voice.” – Will Lindsay
W.C. Lindsay, an electro-pop group born out of the Philadelphia punk scene, takes pride in their musical duality. Self describing the band’s sound as “The Beastie Boys watching The Breakfast Club at Warped Tour,” frontman William Charles Lindsay found a way to create an authentic identity out of a variety of influences. Raised on a scene of frontmen screaming their hearts out down in the crowd, Lindsay vowed to emulate this passion, no matter what style of music he was to create. “If someone cares enough to come see me, they’re going to get everything.”
The parameters were set forth, and so the music grew. Lindsay’s addition of live drums and bass to his performance pushed the punk live agenda, while his live sampling and guitar bring a hands-on aesthetic to the electronic sound. The W.C. Lindsay band has floored audiences in cities all over the country and brought it’s unique brand of electro-pop to audiences big and small, with major artists such as Big K.R.I.T., Modern Baseball, Major Lazer and Twenty One Pilots. In 2014, W.C. Lindsay released their debut full length Easy Victim, Charitable Deceptions via Big Footprints Records. The album showcased their unique sound and grew their fanbase locally and throughout the US. With each sale of Easy Victims, Charitable Deceptions Big Footprints also  gives a donation of $1.00 to Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
W.C. Lindsay have released two other singles over the past few months. “Sister” can be streamed via PureVolume and downloaded via WXPN’s The Key. “Hang Tough” is available for stream now via Alternative Press.
