Tyson Meade (Chainsaw Kittens, Defenestration) readies LP

Chainsaw Kittens and Defenestration frontman Tyson Meade returns to music after years out of the spotlight. The alterna-godfather who was an early influence on Kurt Cobain and lauded by Iggy Pop & Oklahoma neighbors The Flaming Lips is here to get his just dues.
After spending the last decade teaching music in Shanghai, Meade refound his love for music with the help of a violin prodigy, Haffijy. Haffijy along with Jimmy Chamberlin and Nicole Fiorentino from The Smashing Pumpkins  are featured on the first single “Buddy Dash” which just premiered on SPIN. On the upcoming LP, Tommorow in Progress (out May 20), some Flaming Lips, Other Lives, Kerry Brown (Smashing Pumpkins producer) and some Chainsaw Kittens are also featured.
