The Speedbumps share "Done Treading Water"

The Speedbumps, an award-winning American band with a warm, authentic sound, are looking to do big things this year. Built on a passion for hollow-bodied instruments, indie-folk influences, and singer-songwriter Erik Urycki’s breathy, commanding vocals and canny phrasing, the band has developed an aesthetic that seeks to tease out beauty from the gritty details of everyday life.
Daryl Rowland, writing for the Huffington Post, said that singer Erik Urycki’s lyrics “often tackle complex human emotions with elegant economy.” The Speedbumps take this idea one step further in their new song “Done Treading Water,” which premieres today exclusively on The bright and sweet track is the first single from the band’s upcoming album Soil to the Seed, which will be released on May 5.
