The Rooks’ have shared a new single, “Secrets”, off their EP, Wires, set to be released by the end of the year. The single premiered on Okay Player Friday, just a day prior to The Rooks performing to a sold out crowd at NYC’s famed Mercury Lounge.
Layered with funk, soul, and a little pop a la Beyoncé, The Rooks are redefining R&B in the indie world. The Rooks have earned recognition across the northeast with their debut EP, Something You Can Take(2013), as well as their highly successful residency at Pianos NYC — the second highest grossing residency in venue history.
