After a two-year battle with ALS, lead singer and bassist for the Muffs Kim Shattuck passed away at the age of 56.
Her husband Kevin Suth shared on social media, “I am the man I am today because of her. She will live with all of us through her music, our shared memories and in her fierce creative spirit. I love you always my Kimmy. Thank you for sharing your life with me.”
Shattuck’s death comes a couple of weeks right before the Muffs were to release No Holiday, its first album in five years. No word yet on its impending release.
