The Last Bison has announced a new EP called Dorado, that they’ll be self-releasing on March 3 ahead of a big Spring tour that has them criss-crossing the U.S. in March and April. The band also shared the dynamic first single, “This Changes Everything” (soundcloud).

Dorado is the follow-up release to their 2014 full-length VA, and was named after a constellation in the Southern sky. Like the songs from VA, Dorado is full of more experimental percussive elements than their earlier work. Muted chimes and hammered banjo are blended with anthemic vocal harmonies, full strings, and explosive percussion in a way that transcends the folk sound into far more cinematic rock.
