The Joy Formidable finish sophomore album, road test songs at 2012 shows

Welsh trio The Joy Formidable have announced that they have completed recording for their highly anticipated sophomore album. The album was recorded in a cabin in Maine and on a tour bus crossing the United States. The album is the follow-up to the band’s acclaimed 2010 debut The Big Roar. The album was mixed by legendary Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Jeff Buckley Rage Against The Machine), and the release date is to be determined.
The band will preview some of the new material on the road this summer when they play some of the summer’s biggest and best festivals. For a full list of tour dates, see below:
