The Body shares video for "To Attempt Openness", tours

This week The Body unleashed Christs, Redeemers into the world, cementing their reputation as the most adventurous and singular bands working within a metal framework. The band has now shared a video for “To Attempt Openness,” created by visual artist Alexander Barton, which premiered at SPIN earlier today. Based on his piece “Blood Reflects,” the video depicts slowly flowing blood-like substance being pumped onto a canvas, dripping down the surface before collecting morbidly on the floor below. Blending elements of doom, black metal, musique concreté, and harsh industrial music, The Body is the voice of metal’s new avant-garde.
