Skinny Lister ready Down On Deptford Broadway

Following a triumphant week at SXSW recently and currently on tour in Europe supporting Chuck Ragan, London-based folk band Skinny Lister have released another track titled “This Is War” from their forthcoming sophomore album, Down On Deptford Broadway, out Tuesday, April 21 on Xtra Mile Recordings (Frank Turner, Against Me!, Mineral). An uplifting, fast-tempo call to arms, “This Is War” perfectly captures the band’s infectious energy at their fist-pumping, foot-stomping best.

Produced by Ted Hutt (The Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly, Lucero), Down On Deptford Broadway is an album packed with smart songwriting that joins elements of folk with the attitude of punk and rock ‘n’ roll that bursts with sing-along choruses and uptempo numbers that solidly compliment the band’s legendary live spirit. The last single from the album, “Trouble On Oxford Street,” garnered support from Steve Lamacq at 6Music and John Kennedy at XFM.
