Seasons Change share video for "Valentine," tour (2015)

Seasons Change has announced a headlining tour with support from No Tide and Little Envy that will kick off in Pomona, CA on April 3 and wrap in San Diego, CA on April 12. The band will be touring around the release of their debut album, Please Don’t Leave, which is scheduled for release on April 7 via No Sleep Records. Album pre-orders are available now at https://nosleeprecords.com/product/7533.
In conjunction with the tour announcement, Seasons Change has also released a new video for an acoustic rendition of their new song “Valentine.” The heartfelt song pays homage to singer Anthony Robles’ friend Michael Valentine who unexpectedly passed away in 2013. Watch the new acoustic video now at https://youtu.be/4D2dHSChutU, and the recently released official video at https://youtu.be/j7GtzqstCSg.
“About two weeks before Michael passed away, he had come to visit me at my house,” Robles explains. “My mom answered the door and told him that I was in the shower, but she didn’t want to let him in because the house was a mess. All he said was, “It’s fine. Just tell him that Valentine stopped by and that I love him.” I saw him once more the following week at a friend’s birthday party, but he just got there as I was leaving, so I hugged him and said bye and that was it. After he died, I spent every night thinking about how I never told him that I loved him back, that I never called him, or that I just went on like everything was normal, not knowing that I would lose him. Full of anger and confusion, I sat in my room and sang to myself with an acoustic guitar. It turned into screaming until it wasn’t even a song anymore, I was just venting. I felt like if I wrote a real song about it, maybe it would bring some kind of comfort to the rest of our friends and his family to know that we were all feeling the same kind of pain.”
Seasons Change’s new record speaks from the heart with pop-punk driven tracks like “Valentine” and “Hope This Stains” that will have crowds singing along in no time.
