Seabird release Troubled Days in July

Seabird will release Troubled Days, the third full length release from Cincinnati Entertainment Award’s 2008 “Artist of the Year,” Seabird. The album is available July 16 with distribution through Tone Tree Music.

Signing with Credential Recordings/EMI in 2008, Seabird released two successful albums, 2008’s ‘Til We See the Shore and 2009’s Rocks into Rivers.  With support at MTVU (the single “Rescue” spent multiple weeks at #1 on “Most Wanted” and also appeared on “The Freshmen”) and lucrative placements on “Pushing Daisies,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “and Numb3rs,” they quickly recouped on both records.

With the desire for more artistic control and direct interaction with their fans, Seabird approached EMI to negotiate an end to their recording contract. And in 2012, turned to the popular fan funding format on Kickstarter to successfully raise over $40,000 for Troubled Days.

Seabird celebrate Troubled Days at Fountain Square in Cincinnati on Friday, June 14. News and tour updates available at: http://www.seabirdmusic.com
