Rosegold releases Past Lives, tours with GDP (2014)

Brooklyn based young-gun producer, Rosegold will be droppws his debut LP Past Lives via Smokers Cough on February 18.  A video for the song “Ride” that premiered recently exemplifies the blissed out and down-tempo beatscapes that awaits listeners on this release.  That coupled with elements of the abstract and more traditional hip hop filter through at times.

In addition to the album release Rosegold has a production credit on the new Neako (Wiz Khalifa affiliate) mixtape “Sect” that premiered via The Source last week.  Though only producing as Rosegold for a short time, this New Jersey native has been creating music since his early teens.  In fact while playing shows in the Garden state punk circuit as a teen he rubbed shoulders with future emcee/Smokers Cough honcho GDP (who used to drum in Fleshtemple).
In addition to his solo music Rosegold previously made music under the production tag GOLDPYRMDZ with longtime friend Max Hliva, who has recently taken the brand into focus with his video production (Styles P, B.O.B., Mike Will).
With Past Lives ready to drop, Rosegold will be embarking on a tour with GDP this month in support.  This will kick off with an official Rosegold album release party next week in Brooklyn including a performance from Neako.  Tour dates included below.
