“We asked director Jon Meyer to come up with a treatment for the song “Pay No Mind”,” says My Goodness guitarist/vocalist Joel Schneider. “He came back to us with a twisted and campy concept that sounded a little crazy on paper but once we got rolling on it, became one of the most fun video shoots we’ve ever done. We basically wanted to make it as ridiculous as possible yet still very visually appealing. The opportunity to act in one of our videos for the first time was also a ton of fun. We’ve definitely never made a video quite like it.”
My Goodness’ latest single is featured on Shiver + Shake, which is available now from Votiv Music at Amazon and iTunes. The song follows a string of well received tracks, including “Sweet Tooth” and “Cold Feet Killer,” “Check Your Bones,” that are winning over fans from coast to coast with their unique blend of blues infused rock ‘n’ roll.
