Millencolin share video for "Bring Me Home," tour (2015)

Iconic Swedish skate-punk band Millencolin has announced their first North American tour in six years. The band will be performing in support of their eighth studio album and first album since 2008, True Brew, which was released April 28 on Epitaph. The tour will kick off August 30 in Denver, CO for Riot Fest and wrap September 12 at Chicago, IL’s Riot Fest. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 12 at 10am local time.

Sounding both timeless and modern, True Brew is a record that could only come out of four adults who have been side by side since they were teenagers, who have weathered changing politics, shifting cultures and the rise and fall of all kinds of musical trends. And True Brew sees them just as unified as they were when they formed Millencolin, roughly 23 years, seven albums and 1,500 live shows ago. Hence the band’s in-house and in control approach to their eighth album – recorded entirely by guitarist Mathias Färm and produced by vocalist/bassist Nikola Sarcevic at the bands own Soundlab Studios, before turning to Jens Bogren at Fascination Street for mixing duties. Not to mention all of the band’s artwork, photography and music videos created by guitarist Erik Ohlsson.
