Guitarist Mark McGuire has left the band Emeralds. The group’s Steve Hauschildt took to Twitter earlier today on January 3 to explain change to the lineup.
“It is with much regret that I announce Mark McGuire is no longer a member of Emeralds. We wish him only the best of luck,” he wrote, adding, “Emeralds will continue on as a duo consisting of myself and John [Elliott]. Thank you so much for your continued support over the last seven years.”
Hauschildt capped the news by noting that he and Elliott will be touring Australia, Europe, Japan and the U.S. this year, with show specifics arriving at a later date.
