Low Dose to tour in support of Brutal Panda debut (2019)

As the fanfare revolving around their debut LP swells, Philidelphia’s Low Dose have announced a North American tour commencing this April. Kicking off just days following the release of Low Dose (out March 29), their live show is sure to include bows to the guitar-chugging maelstrom of ‘90s alt-rock and bone rattling elegies to love gone wrong. A full tour itinerary can be found below.

While they may have formed just last year, Low Dose have the synchronicity of a band seasoned by years of time and toil. Comprised of Itarya Rosenberg (Legendary Divorce), and all three members of the defunct sultans of sludgecore Fight Amp, Low Dose kneel at the altar of bands like Hole and other melody makers of ‘90s, conjuring a whirlwind of malice and melody.

Across their 35 minute debut, which was recorded and mixed by Steve Poponi (Fight Amp, Psychic Teens) at Gradwell House Studios and mastered by Dave Downham (Creepoid, Beach Slang) the quartet bleed out ten emotionally fearless tracks. Injecting fierce emotional blitzes into the loud-quiet-loud template, Rosenberg’s lyrics conduct a post-mortem on broken relationships amidst a wash of rumbling bass, screeching guitar tones, and dynamic drums.

Low Dose’s self-titled debut will be released on March 29 via Brutal Panda / Knife Hits Records. Preorders are available here and here.
