Itasca and Ivy Meadows are going on tour this December. Itasca is the project of Los Angeles-based Kayla Cohen, featuring baroque guitar stylings, acid-folk inflected vocals, and “sounds like” ranging from early Current 93 to Fairport Convention. Ivy Meadows is the project of multimedia artist Camilla Padgitt-Coles of NYC-based synth explorers Future Shuttle.  Her sound focuses on slowly unfolding synth washes, well-placed and sparse vocals, and a sense of futuristic interpretation.
Also joining us on tour will be Courtney Bird, a world-based animator, doing visuals and projections for Camilla’s performances.
Itasca will have a tour tape and CD available containing all new material, exclusive to the tour only, in an edition of 150; and a new pressing/special edition of the Grace Riders on the Road cassette tape. The tour will end with a tape release show for Ivy Meadows in New York.
