Empires release their new EP, How Good Does It Feel, on June 17.  The band’s new recordings – already spotlighted by The Wall Street Journal – were produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, The Black Angels, Explosions in the Sky).
A little bit about Empires … the band just signed to Chop Shop / Island Records, will make their TV debut on Letterman June 17, were picked by NPR as one of the 100 SXSW best discoveries, and will play a bunch of cool festivals like Bonnaroo, Hangout (this past weekend), Austin City Limits and Summerfest. The band will also tour with The Chain Gang of 1974 in July.
