Broken Water share video for "1984"

Olympia’s Broken Water released Wrought — a collection of tracks that’s part noisy and fuzzed-out, part pretty and melodic — on March 24 via Night-People Records. Today, the band shares a video for one of the album’s fuzzier cuts, “1984,” pairing the slow-moving, melancholic song with blurry footage of everyday life as seen through a series of security cameras. A commentary on surveillance culture with a haunting message, you can watch the video where it premiered with Noisey or via YouTube.
Wrought was recorded and mixed with Steve Fisk (Nirvana, Soundgarden) and features cellist Lori Goldston (Earth, Nirvana) on its epic closing track. It is currently available via iTunes.
