Fully funded on Kickstarter in less than three days, Never Get Tired is the feature-length film about DIY pioneer Jeff Rosenstock, who put his songs online for free (long before Radiohead and Trent Reznor) and redefined punk for the internet age. The film focuses on the world’s first donation-based band, Bomb the Music Industry! and Rosenstock, its variously charismatic, depressive, big-hearted, and loudmouthed mastermind.
Today, Jeff Rosenstock continues the effort through his rapidly-growing solo career. He is currently on a full U.S. co-headlining tour with Dan Andriano In The Emergency Room and earlier this year, he released We Cool?, his first solo album since BTMI!’s 2014 demise.
Riddled with regret and anxiety but cloaked in undeniable indie-pop hits, We Cool? serves as a new chapter in Jeff’s compelling and completely relatable story. A week before it was released, Jeff put the album on Quote Unquote Records for free download/donations only. A strange move considering his recent signing to the first proper record label in his career but the album went on to outperform expectations, landing on the Billboard Top 200 and Heatseekers charts.
