Wisconsin’s Blessed Feathers is set to release Peaceful Beasts in an Ocean of Weeds on October 9. American Songwriter is running an exclusive album stream a week before the release. The band also released a video that chronicles their time spent recording the album in Gardnier, NY. The video features Thor Harris of Swans & Shearwater, who collaborated with Blessed Feathers on their forthcoming release. Peaceful Beasts In An Ocean Of Weeds will be released as hand-numbered, limited-edition digital vinyl discs. All pre-orders of the album placed before street date will receive a free copy of the new Summer/Fall 2012 issue of frontman Donivan Berube’s literary zine, Sleeping in a Torn Quilt / Dreaming of Gold.
