Arbouretum shares video for "Here in the Deep" from forthcoming LP

Arbouretum frontman Dave Heumann’s “Here in the Deep,” the title track from his forthcoming album (out Oct. 16), is a melancholic celebration of the joys of summer while the end of the season looms. The video for the track was shot on the last day of swimming season at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore by director Jay Buim, capturing the mood of Heumann’s beautiful ballad:
The sun sank below
And I watched it go
As midnight is blind
Primroses shine
Go to sleep
Cloud cover creeps
Here in the deep
Sentience seeps

The video is a loving tribute to two things that Heumann cares for deeply: swimming, and Baltimore, his hometown. The choice of the historic Druid Hill Pool was an easy one, and the footage beautifully captures the wonders of summer while also bidding them farewell.
