Animal Parts share video for "Where The Heart Is"

Animal Parts recently shared their heartsick, yet uplifting single, “Where The Heart Is,” via SPIN, and today, the Toronto folk rock band unveil a nostalgic new video for the track. The video features home movie footage of childhood images and lazy summer days, with clips of Animal Parts’ Joshua Cockerill walking home through the streets of Toronto. You can watch the “Where The Heart Is” video where it premiered with Diffuser.fm, and post/share it via Vimeo.
Animal Parts’ recent EP, Six Arms To Hold You, chronicles the loneliness and nostalgia that come along with making a home on the open road. Animal Parts’ Joshua Cockerill told SPIN, “I wrote ‘Where the Heart Is’ near the end of a multiple-month long solo tour, where I almost fell through the floor from loneliness to find me the comfort of knowing I was soon going home. The song, and the record as a whole, reflects on places where life has once been, now left empty, and my attempt at putting it back where it belongs.”
Six Arms To Hold You saw is release on October 22. Six Arms To Hold You is the second EP of a two-part series released by Animal Parts last year, much like the preceding Other Rooms (8/19), Six Arms To Hold You will be released in vinyl/digital formats only.
