Amusement Share “Holding On”

West Coast punks Amusement are preparing a bevy of new releases, including a brand new three-song 7″ EP via Dirt Cult Records, and a 12″ for Brassneck Records and Shield Recordings that compiles all three of the band’s 7″s as well as their cover of Dinosaur Jr.’s “Budge.” The collection will also appear on cassette via Summer Darling Tapes.

The band has also shared a brand-new single from the EP. According to Jonah Falco of Fucked Up, the song is a “perfect division of melody from aggression and aggression from melody. A masterclass in the pathways of ’90s punk a la Jawbreaker, guitar power like Dinosaur Jr, and the ‘sadder but wiser’ legacy of Greg Sage, bringing shrouds of grey skies to the optimism and power of decades of punk rock. Helmed by some heavy hitting musicians, [the song is] not to be missed!
