Woodsist Festival is returning to its roots as a Big Sur-only event in 2015 with a one-day event at new location Loma Vista Gardens on May 18, presented by (((folkYEAH!))). Today Woodsist Festival is pleased to add a special Grateful Dead tribute set w/ Alex Bleeker and the Freaks with the Woodsist Family Band, similar to Bleeker’s recent show at Brooklyn Bowl / Brooklyn is Dead. The festival also added Peaking Lights to the lineup since the initial announcement. This marks the sixth year in a row of Woodsist Festival taking place in Big Sur. Tickets are on sale now. This year’s line-up includes Woodsist fest mainstays Real Estate, Woods, White Fence and Little Wings plus legendary Omaha songwriter Simon Joyner who has recently joined the Woodsist family.
