InFested: Photos of The Get Up Kids at the Wrecking Ball, August 8, 2015

Kansas City’s 20 year emo veterans The Get Up Kids turned in one of the Wrecking Ball’s best and sweatiest sets of the weekend. The material consisted solely of hits from the band’s earliest material, the Woodson EP, Four Minute Mile, Something To Write Home About, and the Red Letter Day EP. High-fives were exchanged and the crowd sung every word.
Stage banter highlights included jokes about Matt Pryor’s porno mustache and a giant bra tossed on stage (which they said had never happened, although we don’t believe them).
Ghettoblaster’s Kris Neises captured the action.
