Zazie Beetz is best known as the actress in a supporting role of Atlanta on FX where she plays the mother of Danny Glover’s child. Beetz was tapped to play the Marvel character Domino (Neena Thurman) the mutant who many know as a member of X-Force, the offshot X-Men group. And while Beetz’s Domino looks fierce, there have been some changes made in costuming. In the comic book, Domino has worn outfits that have covered her from head to toe and there’s obviously a change from the black circle that was wrapped around one eye that’s inverted on Beetz darker complexion. Ryan Reynolds shared the first look of the actress playing Domino, who in the comic could be found alongside her love interest Cable, played by Josh Brolin in the upcoming film as well.

Fans of Deadpool will have to wait on the new movie though as it’s not scheduled for release until June 1, 2018. This is going to be an interesting and welcomed addition to the cast of characters in the Marvel Universe. This could possibly be epic.
