Guillermo Del Toro Returns With The ‘The Shape Of Water’

Visionary director Guillermo Del Toro Returns with a new, non-traditional, love story with The Shape Of Water. This trailer is odd but compelling.
The film stars Sally Hawkins who plays a cleaning woman at a government facility and she happens to be deaf. She somewhat befriends a creature that seems to draw similarities to the 1954 character, the Creature From The Black Lagoon. The similarity can also be drawn to Abe Sapien, a character from Hellboy. Considering Del Toro worked on Hellboy, it’s not a stretch.  Del Toro was originally scheduled to work on the Pacific Rim sequel but dropped out in order to work on The Shape Of Water. The movie was written in collaboration with Vanessa Taylor and also stars Doug Jones, Octavia Spencer, Richard Jenkins and Michael Shannon. The movie is slated for a December 8, 2017 opening.
