Twain Shares Single "Solar Pilgrim"

Albeit still in the early stages, musician Mt. Davidson has made a name for himself within his career. Some of his accomplishments include contributing his musicianship to the likes of The Low Anthem, Spirit Family Reunion, and Deslondes. All of us should be of course thrilled to discover that Mt. Davidson is now turning his attention towards his solo project Twain.
With the upcoming release of Twain’s Rare Feeling (October 22 via Keeled Scales), Davidson is staying true to his deeply rooted influences that include indie folk and Americana. An exploration of psychedelia undoubtedly allow the accompanied tracks to be more-textured and expressive.  The new album was co-recorded by Adrian Olsen (Natalie Prass, Foxygen, Matthew E. White) and Scott McMicken of Dr. Dog.
Courtesy of rockers Big Thief, Twain recently released a single from Rare Feeling titled “Solar Pilgrim”. At first blush, the subtle crackling that starts the heavenly song settles you gently into a state of utter relaxation. Then emerges the dulcet tones of Davidson, an artist that clearly is masterful in creating sounds that are smooth to the ear.

Twain is currently performing a handful of dates around the United States:
