Tom Tripp Shares First Single ‘Loving You More’ Off Sophomore Release 'Black'

Life sometimes comes full-circle. I first discovered Tom Tripp off a random demo track on Soundcloud. But it was the only thing I was able to locate at the time. The young London native has been busy though, today sharing the first single “Loving You More” off his sophomore album Black (Geffen). On “Loving You More” is simply proof of why Tom Tripp is a pop-soul natural and one of the purest new singer/songwriter we have. A self-taught musician (plays guitar, bass, and drums) the song sees the 22-year-old experimenting with influences from his Nigerian heritage and afro-beats as well as the hi-gloss experience of making music in studios in LA. Anchoring the stylistic twist is his signature candid songwriting – raking over the process of letting go after a break-up. As Tom says “I am a sensitive Scorpio, I am very in touch with my emotions”.
