Tennyson share "Cry Bird," tour (2017)

Brother-and-sister duo Tennyson (AKA Luke & Tess) have announced their new Uh Oh! EP out September 28 via OWSLA. The six-track EP marks their debut full project on the label, led by first single “Cry Bird” featuring vocals from Luke. Their unique sound, avant garde production and captivating live shows earned them the attention of Skrillex, leading to a collaboration on Skrillex’s ethereal “Stranger” remix and signing to OWSLA.

Tess and Luke began making music when they were kids, covering bands like Weezer. By age twelve Luke discovered his formidable talent as a keyboardist and released two albums. During their high school years in Edmonton, Alberta they moonlighted playing Beatles covers while Luke refined his skill as a beat-maker. Today Luke uses everyday sounds like the nagging ‘ding’ of a car seatbelt alarm to craft intricate electronic pop that is both catchy and daringly experimental, while Tess’s masterful drumming manages to hold the songs in from floating away on their own cosmic vibes. The effect is nothing less than magical, amplified tenfold during their live performances. They’ll be heading on their own headline tour across North America starting September 7th in Austin, Texas, all tour dates listed below.
