As part of its recurring series of split 7-inch releases, Spindown Record Club will release an exclusive split single from Ted Leo and Publicist UK, set to ship on September 24.
The split features the first new Ted Leo track in years and is a 100 percent solo recording with Mr Leo channeling his inner darkness.
Publicist U.K. is a four piece post-punk veritable supergroup that play incredibly vibrant yet dark music. Currently signed to Relapse Records, the band is composed of Dave Witte (Municipal Waste, Melt-Banana), Zachary Lipez (ex-Freshkills), Brett Bamberger (Revocation, ex-East of the Wall, Ted Leo), and David Obuchowski (Goes Cube, Distant Correspondent). Their contribution is also an exclusive track that proves these four guys are going places.
