Tall Tales and the Silver Lining share "Burning Out," tour (2015)

Following the release of their excellent album Tightropes earlier this year, Tall Tales and the Silver Lining announce the release of the Unknown Forces digital EP October 30 on Other Music Recording Co.
Chief songwriter and bandleader Trevor Beld Jimenez calls the track “Unknown Forces” off their latest full-length album “a little prayer.” On the new EP, “Unknown Forces” is joined by two unreleased tracks from the Tightropes album sessions, “Burning Out” and “Stay Away from Me,“ and a live recording of Tightropes’ “Waves” from an in-studio performance at LA public broadcaster KCSN. The innovative mobile-web edition, designed for social engagement and sharing, presents the tracks, a new video for “Unknown Forces,” image portfolio, band interview, liner notes, and an integrated Spotify playlist for the full Tightropes LP – a record Diffuser called one of the best albums of 2015. WXPN premiered “Burning Out” as their Morning Download. Listen and download “Burning Out” for free HERE.

The release of Tall Tales and the Silver Lining’s album Tightropes brought touring on both coasts, a live performance on NPR’s World Cafe, video and track premieres, and song placements in several national TV series, including Nashville, Secrets and Lies, Stitchers, and Playing House. Unknown Forces will support an active tour schedule. After appearances with Fruit Bats in October, Tall Tales and the Silver Lining will join Vetiver November 3rd in Portland; November 6th in Oakland; and November 7th in Los Angeles. Complete tour dates listed below.
Tall Tales and the Silver Lining, led by songwriter Trevor Beld Jimenez, blend the folk- and country-rock of their native Southern California with electric echoes of guitar-driven workouts. Trevor grew up on the sounds of ‘70s AM radio classics like Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and The Byrds. His music incorporates classic songwriting, great playing, hook-heavy arrangements, and thoughtful production: It’s heartfelt rock & roll, songs of love and loss, ocean breezes, and the crackle of beach bonfires.
