Song Premiere: The Raging Nathans, "The Betrayal"

The Raging Nathans

The Raging Nathans

Dayton, Ohio’s The Raging Nathans play hyped-up, melodic punk rock that is bursting with rage and humor at its biting core.
Referential of early Green Day, Screeching Weasel, Face to Face and contemporaries like Off With Their Heads, the band mange to emerge with their own unique take on the genre, while still paying homage to their predecessors.
This October, The Raging Nathans deliver their latest LP, Losing It, via Dead Broke, Rad Girlfriend, and Recess Records. For this effort, recorded with Micah Carli at Popside Recordings, the band got personal. They aren’t hiding behind a lot a lot of metaphors or fancy writing. There are songs about specific people. There are songs about death, drug and alcohol abuse, and relationships. Losing It is how these dudes really feel.
The band are currently lining up an east coast tour in support of the record for October, and have plans to tour the midwest shortly thereafter.
Today Ghettoblaster has the pleasure of debuting a track from the album called, “The Betrayal.”
