Song Premiere: Parker Longbough, "RNC 200"

Parker Longbough is the recording moniker of Matthew Witthoeft of Anchorage, Alaska. Witthoeft first gained notoriety in the local music scene as a member of the band Uncle Jesse. After Uncle Jesse’s demise, Witthoeft began to perform with various band members under the name Parker Longbough.
In April 2018, Longbough will release his third album, Left on Tri. This album was primarily written in the era of Bridges, while Longbough was living in a small cabin in the woods of Alaska, trying to find his way back home. Left on Tri showcases Longbough’s ability to craft lyrics steeped in pop culture and continues the literary bent that was evident in his earlier work.
Today, Ghettoblaster has the pleasure of premiering “RNC 2000,” from the forthcoming record, which hits the streets via Wilderhood Music on April 20. The song is a hazy, indie rock romp that recalls Noise Addict and Jim Carroll. Enjoy it below:
