Song Premiere: Life in 24 Frames, “Another Space Song”

In the simplest of forms, Life in 24 Frames have one goal: to share their variety of creations to as many people as possible. This vision that the band conceived has in turn allowed them to open for bands such as Band of Horses, Cage the Elephant, Imagine Dragons, Minus the Bear, and Blonde Redhead. Not us not forget the band has also built a large following since being featured on the gaming site IGN.com.

The music that Life in 24 Frames creates heavily indulges in escaping reality. To achieve this, the band digs deeply into elements of shoegaze and indie rock that in turn feels deeply emotional. Today listeners can experience this Life in 24 Frames’ cover of “Another Space Song” by Failure, along with the accompanying video.

Kris Adams on the single: “In July of this year four us decided to quarantine for ten days at the Panoramic House Studio in Stinson Beach CA (My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses, The Head and the Heart) with our producer Robert Cheek.  Robert has been recording and engineering 24 Frames since our first record , Time Trails, in 2009 and we have always used Failures “Fantastic Planet” as a high watermark for comparison.  Now 11 years later, we felt it only right to bring it full circle and record a cover of one of our favorite tracks from that record, ‘Another Space Song.’ While trying to stay faithful to the original we put our own touch on the track.  This is our homage to Ken Andrews & Co, for staying such a strong inspiration to our work over the years and setting such a high standard in the process of recording powerful sonics.”
